Hunting clinic
Hosted by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game & the Juneau Gun Club
This event will provide local waterfowl hunters the opportunity to prepare
and improve their skills for the upcoming season. ADF&G personnel will
also present information on issues related to hunting on the Mendenhall Wetlands
State Game Refuge.
Presentations will include:
· Issues related to hunting on the Mendenhall Wetlands
State
Game Refuge
· Refuge Hunting Tips
· Information on waterfowl hunting regulations
· Practicing ethical hunting behavior
Shooting Skills Clinic will include:
· Patterning stations; Identify the optimum loads for your
shotgun
· Range estimation
· Clay target shooting under simulated hunting conditions
